Spring in the mountains

🌸 Spring (March - May)

Spring brings renewal to the wilderness. Waterfalls surge with snowmelt, wildflowers carpet alpine meadows, and migratory birds return. Lower elevations become accessible as snow recedes.

This season is ideal for waterfall viewing, bird watching, and witnessing the dramatic transformation of landscapes awakening from winter.

  • Peak waterfall season
  • Wildflower blooms begin
  • Bird migration peaks
  • Fewer crowds on trails
Summer hiking

☀️ Summer (June - August)

Summer is prime hiking season. High alpine routes become snow-free, all trails are accessible, and long daylight hours maximize adventure time. This is peak season for backpacking and summit attempts.

Expect warm temperatures, clear skies, and the best conditions for high-elevation adventures. Book early as this is our busiest season.

  • All trails accessible
  • Longest daylight hours
  • Best for alpine routes
  • Peak wildflower displays
Fall colors

🍂 Fall (September - November)

Fall transforms forests into spectacular displays of gold, orange, and crimson. Cooler temperatures make hiking more comfortable, wildlife is actively preparing for winter, and crowds thin dramatically.

This is our favorite season for photography, elk viewing during the rut, and experiencing the peaceful solitude of the wilderness.

  • Spectacular fall colors
  • Elk rutting season
  • Cooler hiking temperatures
  • Fewer crowds
Winter adventure

❄️ Winter (December - February)

Winter reveals a magical, silent world blanketed in snow. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing replace hiking, and the landscape transforms into a pristine wonderland.

Experience the serenity of winter wilderness, track animals in fresh snow, and enjoy the stunning beauty of frozen waterfalls and snow-covered peaks.

  • Snowshoeing adventures
  • Animal tracking in snow
  • Frozen waterfall viewing
  • Ultimate solitude
